Fairplay Awards 2011/2012How to submit Fairplay scoresThis season you can submit Fairplay scores online! To submit scores for your team you will need an account. Register here. Registrations are approved after a manual review. AimsThe aim is to give young players, managers and parents/supporters a goal to aim for during the season. The ethos behind the scheme is to encourage fair play throughout the age groups. Encouraging young sports people to behave in a sportsman like manner and play fairly is a step towards these players growing in maturity and showing good sportsmanship in the future. The increased pressures of the professional game do not always set the best examples, and we need to show, through the Fairplay League, how the game should be played and what behaviour is expected. At the end of the season after all results have been tabulated, the winners of each age group will receive a certificate honouring their achievement. How to use the Fairplay systemAny games missing a Fairplay submission are listed as soon as you log in. Just press the button to have the Fairplay report auto-filled with game details for you. If no missing games are known, you can still enter game details by pressing the button to manually fill in a blank form. To help your records, you now get a list of previous submissions made by your team after you submit a Fairplay score. The list only shows submissions that match up with an official fixture where the result has been reported via the Fixture secretary. To preserve confidentiality, it is never possible to see whether opposing teams have made a submission. Unlike last season we will not be asking for County FA Cup match feedback. |
